I am trying to add a new folder under the Public folder. I am trying to add a new folder under the administrator log in on my Mac Mini and it won't let me and it won't let me under any user name. This is more than frustrating since we are paying for E3 and E5 license model I can find the new folder icon, but it is grayed out in the finder window. Not to mention that the access of public folders in the old version on mac already was a quite painful experience, if you need access to a lot of public folders inside the folder hierarchy.
Still no public folders here (Outlook 16.49, new interface). If I go to File, Import and Export are grayed out. If I go to Preferences, and General, the Hide On My Computer folders is grayed out. What happened to On My Computer Files folders? I used to have all my old emails grouped by years in. Just switched to the new Outlook for Mac. however, I can not move emails from the Inbox of one account into a folder of the other account. A workaround is to use Mail on the Mac to add folders, which are then available in Outlook. I can add folders on the Microsoft 365 account but not on the Gmail account. In the ribbon toolbar for Home, you will see an icon for New Items (it's the second icon from the left) I'm using Outlook 16.51 and Catalina 10.15.7.
